This year you can Bake a Difference whenever you like so you can link your fundraising to a family celebration, a school or organisation fundraising week or your workplace Friday bake sale!

Where it started
11 years ago, a little boy called Sammy was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Inspired by other fundraising events at his school, Sammy’s parents decided to hold a bake sale to raise funds and awareness of their son’s rare condition. They went on to hold events throughout their local area and in 2017, we took it on as a national campaign. Sammy is 14 now and his goal this year is for us all to raise £13,000 together to help people across the country like him. Can you help Sammy bake a difference?

The difference you will bake…
Coffee and a slice of cake costs £5. A few slices can add up and help us make a real difference:

£60 means we could be there for anyone with a new diagnosis, helping them navigate their way through the challenges of living with a muscle-wasting condition

£100 can keep our helpline going, meaning we are there to provide vital support to anyone with muscle-wasting conditions

£180 would pay for laboratory equipment for researchers, enabling them to investigate new treatments for people with muscle-wasting conditions
