18-30 Events Support for Young People

Join us online for our monthly young adult catch up’s. These meetings are for young adults (aged 18-30) who are living with muscle-wasting or weakening conditions in the UK.

Our online catch ups will give you an opportunity to meet other young adults who also know what it’s like to live with a muscle-wasting condition. Having a muscle-wasting condition often means adjusting to changes and an unexpected reality, so it can really help to meet others and talk about the things that matter to you.

Over the next 12 months, we will be running monthly young adult catchups online. Details of all upcoming meetings can be found on our Events page, which will be updated regularly as dates and times of meetings are confirmed.

In February will be joined by Kiera, who lives with limb girdle muscular dystrophy. Kiera will be sharing her own story about being diagnosed, her experiences in the early stages of her diagnosis, and how she is now living well with a muscle wasting condition. There will be many opportunities to ask questions, to share information, to have frank open and honest conversations, and also share advice through peer-to-peer support.

You can sign up for February's event with Kiera at the link below:
